Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer II in Oakland, CA. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on leading complex hardware development projects, from system architecture down to board-level debugging, for regulated medical/tech devices.

You will work across electronics disciplines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure design controls, verification, and documentation are exemplary. Aiming for rigorous, reliable, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electronic hardware design in regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in analog, digital, mixed-signal, low-power and power-management circuit design.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic, PCB layout, BOM management, and design release.
• Experience with MCUs and embedded hardware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Design, verify and troubleshoot analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits for medical devices.
• Ensure design controls and documentation in a regulated product development environment.
