Qualifications

• Minimum: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited curriculum in the US or equivalent from outside the US.
• Minimum: 8 years of cumulative experience in electrical engineering and design.
• Desired: Experience in multiple large-scale, large budget electric substation projects.
• Desired: Experience in substation engineering.
• Desired: Skilled in project management.
• Desired: Current California PE license.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design of complex projects within the Electric Engineering department.
• Coach, direct, and assist technical employees and teams on technical issues.
• Interact with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project success.
• Plan work independently to meet objectives under general direction.
