Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a senior electrical design lead to architect and supervise electrical systems for hyperscale data centers in the Phoenix area. You will drive design decisions for redundancy and resiliency, coordinating engineering teams and field personnel while mentoring junior staff and interfacing with clients.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 11+ years of relevant experience, including hyperscale DC work (40 MW+).

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience, including prior work on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Work onsite five days per week; PE license preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed electrical design for hyperscale data centers and advise on redundancy and resiliency risks.
• Coordinate engineering teams and field personnel.
• Conduct facility surveys and review technical deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and work directly with clients.
