Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced electrical design lead for hyperscale data centers in Michigan. You will lead detailed electrical design for large-scale facilities, possibly guiding the design team, and coordinate with project teams and field personnel to keep work on scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 11+ years of related experience including hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM; PE

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience.
• Experience on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Onsite work five days per week; PE license and data center knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed electrical design for large-scale data centers and coordinate with project teams and field personnel.
• Deliver work on scope, budget, and schedule.
• Assess design risks related to redundancy and resiliency and survey existing facilities.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate directly with clients.
