Job summary

NPAworldwide in Cary, NC, seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the electrical design for hyperscale data centers. You will coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and clients to keep work on scope, budget, and schedule, and you will mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 11+ years of related experience including hyperscale projects ≥40 MW, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM. On-site work five days a week and a PE license preferred or being pursued.

Responsibilities

Lead detailed electrical design for large-scale hyperscale data centers.
Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and clients to maintain scope, budget, and schedule.
Assess design risks related to redundancy and resiliency.
Conduct field surveys and prepare/review technical deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and designers.
