Job summary

NPAworldwide in Minneapolis seeks a senior electrical engineer to lead detailed design for hyperscale data centers, coordinating with project teams, field personnel, and clients to deliver on scope, budget and schedule.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 11+ years of experience on hyperscale data centers (≥40 MW), and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM. Onsite work five days per week; PE license preferred or in progress.

• Minimum 11 years of related experience.
• Experience on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week.
• PE license preferred or actively pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed electrical design for large-scale data centers.
• Coordinate with project teams, field personnel and clients to deliver on scope, budget and schedule.
• Assess design risks related to redundancy and resiliency.
• Conduct field surveys and prepare/ review technical deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
