Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a senior electrical engineer in the United States to design electrical systems for dams, hydropower and utility projects, and to lead technical efforts.

You will prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction, manage projects, provide construction administration and site visits, and mentor staff while coordinating with subcontractors and clients. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 18+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• A PE license in any state with ability to obtain in additional states within six months.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for dams, hydropower and utility projects.
• Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction.
• Project management and technical leadership on large/complex projects.
• Provide construction administration and site visits.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers.
• Client management; travel as required.
