Job summary

AECOM seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Seattle, WA. This role supports a multidisciplinary team across Federal and Northwest markets, with opportunities to engage in energy conservation and decarbonization initiatives.

The engineer will design and document electrical systems for diverse building projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or similar plus 6 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations for building electrical systems from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with client and multiple disciplines to ensure on-schedule delivery within budget.
• Lead junior staff, review work for quality, and mentor teammates.
• Attend and present to owners, clients and architects as needed.
• Stay current on NEC, WSEC, UFC, ASHRAE, IECC and related codes.
