Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Northern California practice in a hybrid, in-person role. The engineer will design and deliver building electrical systems, support the Federal and Northwest markets, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and other disciplines.

Preferred candidates have 10+ years of experience, strong NEC/energy code knowledge, and proficiency with Revit, CAD and power-system tools. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• PE Registration required.
• 10+ years designing building electrical systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, UFC, IECC and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical building systems from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and clients to meet budgets and schedules.
• Mentor junior staff and review work for quality.
• Present to owners, clients and architects as needed.
• Support site visits and data collection for projects.
