Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc in the United States is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to ensure safe operation, regulatory compliance and reliability of the electrical infrastructure at the Devon site. This role serves as the site’s Competent Person for electrical safety and leads the electrical safety program.

You will plan, design, estimate, supervise and execute electrical projects, manage scope, schedule and budget, and assist maintenance in troubleshooting electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC/NFPA 70E/NEMA/ANSI standards.
• README: Detail-oriented electrical safety program leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies to determine electrical requirements for new or modified equipment and facilities.
• Develop project scope, bids, schedules, cost estimates and appropriation requests.
• Supervise design, installation, start-up, testing and debugging of electrical systems.
• Maintain as-built drawings, procedures and training guides.
• Oversee arc flash studies and energy calculations.
