This role involves testing, procedures development, customer interactions, and leadership on technically demanding programs.

A BS from an ABET-accredited program and 4+ years of relevant experience are required, with potential for DOE security

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or Physics required.
• 4+ years of engineering/analytical experience required.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.

Aufgaben

• Designs and/or develops/processes new products, instruments and equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Assesses production/inspection operations and acceptance methods for complex components and assemblies.
• Monitors electrical testing and troubleshoots failures.
• Develops operating procedures, work instructions and inspection criteria for new products and components.
• Plans and performs engineering testing using advanced statistical and scientific methods.
• Refines product definitions to ensure producibility of released designs.
• Interacts with customers, design agency and supplier counterparts to resolve issues.
• Prepares evaluation reports and recommends cost-effective improvements.
• Provides project leadership and technical guidance on complex engineering projects.
