Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with board-level hardware development, testing, debug, and integration.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic systems in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to develop and execute hardware validation, qualification, and characterization test plans.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
• Knowledge of EMI/ESD design considerations and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support bring-up, characterization, validation, and integration of PCBAs for advanced electronic and instrument platforms.
• Review PCBA designs, schematics, layouts, and interfaces.
• Develop and execute test plans to characterize and qualify hardware.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and perform root cause analysis on prototype boards.
• Integrate PCBAs into electromechanical systems and support product development.
• Document test results, engineering findings, and Theory of Operation for released designs.
• Implement design updates and support hardware release to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve performance.
• Support multiple new product development programs by adapting hardware architectures.
