HED is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical system design and documentation from early concept through construction. The role requires independent delivery of technical content, resolving system-level challenges, and contributing to project strategy and standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with architecture, structure, and civil teams, and participate in fee development for electrical work on multiple projects. A P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• P.E. licensure required.
• 10+ years in the AEC Industry preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; Revit experience required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and documentation of complex electrical systems such as distribution risers, lighting controls, and low-voltage systems.
• Validate and approve key electrical engineering calculations and integrate results into system design.
• Oversee setup of electrical Revit models, including views, sheet organization, and annotation standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil teams to resolve system conflicts.
• Mentor junior engineers and electrical designers through delegation and feedback.
• Participate in fee development, scoping, and resource planning for electrical scope in proposals.
