HED is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and technical execution of complex electrical systems for mission-critical projects. You will coordinate across architectural, structural, and civil teams, mentor junior staff, and represent the discipline in client-facing settings.

The role emphasizes independent delivery from early design through construction administration. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is required.
• P.E. licensure is required.
• 10+ years in the AEC industry preferred.
• Revit experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and documentation of complex electrical systems (distribution, lighting, emergency power, low-voltage).
• Validate key electrical calculations and integrate results into system design.
• Oversee electrical Revit models and coordination with other disciplines.
• Provide independence in site visits, field reports, and QA/QC reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposals, scope, and planning.
