Job summary

Nexamp is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Clean Energy Deployment team in Washington, DC. The role involves reviewing solar and storage project designs and providing technical expertise in interconnection and construction.

You will be responsible for advanced electrical modeling and managing third-party electrical engineers. The position offers competitive compensation and a flexible hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years electrical engineering experience, including 2+ years PV experience.
• Utility-scale design and HV substation experience preferred.
• Demonstrates command of engineering fundamentals and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Specify and review equipment shop drawings for major electrical equipment.
• Perform advanced electrical modeling to coordinate system protection.
• Support Grid Integration and Project Engineering team.
