Job summary

Nexamp Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Clean Energy Deployment team in Boston. You'll be responsible for reviewing solar & storage projects, offering technical expertise in interconnection and construction of distributed energy resources.

This role requires 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including 2+ years in photovoltaic systems. The position supports hybrid work and offers competitive compensation, including health benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 2+ years of PV experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering is required.
• EIT certification required, PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specify and review equipment shop drawings for major electrical equipment.
• Perform advanced electrical modeling to coordinate system protection.
• Manage scope of work for 3rd party electrical engineers.
• Provide technical support to Nexamp commissioning.
• Train and mentor junior engineering personnel.
