Job summary

Nexamp Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Clean Energy Deployment team. This role involves reviewing solar and storage project designs and providing technical expertise in the commissioning of distributed energy resources.

Located in New York, this position supports hybrid work and requires extensive electrical engineering experience, including proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP. With a competitive compensation package, you'll be part of a team dedicated to the clean energy movement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 2+ years of PV experience.
• Utility scale design and HV substation experience or effective grounding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specify and review equipment shop drawings for major electrical equipment.
• Perform advanced electrical modeling to coordinate system protection.
• Support Grid Integration and Project Engineering team.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
