Job summary

Meriton Energy Partners is seeking a senior Lead Electrical Engineer / Electrical SME to own the electrical scope across our gas-turbine power generation portfolio in the United States. You will provide technical leadership across multiple projects, working with internal teams, EPCs, vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• PE registration advantageous but not mandatory.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities across gas turbine projects and electrical balance of plant.
• Serve as senior technical authority for electrical engineering across the portfolio.
• Review and approve electrical deliverables: diagrams, schematics, specs, layouts.
• Provide leadership across generator systems, protection, transformers, switchgear and BOP.
• Lead power system studies: load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash.
• Establish standards, specs and design practices for scaling fleet.
• Support construction, energisation, commissioning and startup activities.
• Resolve complex technical issues with generators, AVR, switchgear and transformers.
• Collaborate with gas turbine OEMs, EPCs, utilities and vendors.
• Support procurement through specs, RFQs and bid evaluations.
