Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer in California to drive design and act as the technical authority for complex water and wastewater projects from planning through commissioning. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, review deliverables, mentor staff, and support client relationships.

The role requires a PE license (California preferred or via comity) and 20+ years of progressive electrical experience with water infrastructure, including medium- and low-voltage systems and power studies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
Professional Engineer license; California licensure preferred or obtainable by comity.
20+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
Substantial water and wastewater infrastructure design experience.
Expertise in medium- and low-voltage power systems.
Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities
