Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and serve as the technical authority on large water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Los Angeles area. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, construction, startup, and commissioning, while reviewing deliverables and supporting client relationships.

The role requires a PE license (California preferred) and 20+ years of progressive experience in electrical design for water facilities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license with California licensure preferred or obtainable by comity.
• 20+ years of progressive electrical design experience.
• Led electrical design for water and wastewater facilities.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage systems and power studies.
• Experience with collaborative project delivery and client-facing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and act as technical authority for complex water/wastewater projects.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, construction, startup and commissioning.
• Review and approve technical deliverables and support client relationships.
• Mentor engineering staff and contribute to pursuits.
