Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in modeling and analysis of renewable power plants, inverter-based resources, grid-connected systems, and microgrids.
• Knowledge of power system control, dynamics, and optimization.
• Experience with power system simulation tools such as ETAP or PSCAD.
• Familiarity with real-time simulation platforms like OPAL-RT is desirable.
• Basic programming skills in Python or C#.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and test software applications for modeling, control, and energy management of renewable systems.
• Perform advanced power system studies related to renewable integration and microgrids.
• Develop optimization algorithms for economic dispatch, generation scheduling, and energy management.
• Support validation of control algorithms for plants and microgrids.
• Collaborate with software and power system engineers to translate requirements into robust software.
• Conduct offline and real-time simulations and testing.
