Job summary

ETAP is seeking a Senior Electrical (Power) Engineer in Irvine, CA, for R&D engineering. The role requires design, modeling and analysis of electric power systems, and development in Microsoft Visual C++. Hybrid, full-time employment with opportunities to lead engineering service projects and support marketing efforts.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of power system modeling experience and strong problem-solving skills, with MS/PhD in Power System Engineering; MS in CS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in modeling and analysis of power system studies.
• Capabilities in researching, designing and testing of various power system simulation models.
• Ability to follow various industrial standards and write specifications.
• MS or PhD in Power System Engineering; MS in Computer Science is a plus.

• Support ETAP marketing, workshops and technical support.
