Job summary

Indotronix UK is seeking an Electrical Engineer III for an onsite role in Wilmington, NC, Mon-Fri 8-5 with potential overtime. The position involves hands-on engineering support for equipment construction, installation, debugging, and startup at domestic and international sites.

You will lead internal teams and contractors during installation and conversion projects, focusing on safety, quality, and on-time delivery while interfacing with system integrators and machine builders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 - 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on a manufacturing floor or construction environment, with a strong focus on job site safety and proactive safety approach.
• Knowledge of power systems for 480VAC and below.
• Ability to work hands-on with the equipment using typical hand tools, instruments, and measurement/alignment devices.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and translate them into equipment designs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Learn & understand process & equipment functions, including I/O, control sequence logic, and fail-safe states.
• Interface with external system integrators and machine builders to deliver fully integrated process equipment systems on time and on budget.
• Assist in developing integrated industrial control systems for new equipment and modification of existing equipment.
• Work with Technology Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to industrialize and reduce costs.
• Support initial equipment setup and debug up to turnover to operations.
• Supervise internal or contract engineers, maintenance, and trades during installation and conversion.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and implement changes to fix equipment/process issues.
• Review and modify installation checklists, machine part lists, illustrations, and drawings.
