Job summary

CTG seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer III to provide hands-on engineering support for manufacturing equipment construction, installation, debugging, and startup at domestic and international locations. The role will oversee internal teams and contract personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience on a manufacturing floor or construction environment.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems 480VAC and below.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into equipment designs and control systems.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for installation, modification, troubleshooting, debugging, and startup of manufacturing equipment.
• Understand manufacturing processes and equipment functions, including I/O, control logic, fail-safe states, and recovery sequences.
• Collaborate with external system integrators and machine builders to deliver integrated industrial control systems.
• Support development and modification of electrical and industrial control systems for new and existing equipment.
• Work with Technology Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations to industrialize equipment designs and reduce costs.
• Support initial equipment setup, debugging, and testing through turnover to operations.
• Direct internal engineers, maintenance personnel, contract engineers, and outside trades during installation activities.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and coordinate component replacement and equipment modifications to resolve issues.
• Review and update installation checklists, parts lists, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain a strong focus on job site safety throughout all activities.
