Job summary

Indotronix is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a 12-month contract-to-hire role. The position covers installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems across a manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent.
• Valid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License.
• 3–5 years of electrical maintenance in a regulated industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E and electrical safety standards.
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in manufacturing.
• Follow EHS/GMP/quality requirements.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls throughout the facility.
• Support production equipment, utility systems, HVAC, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, panels, lighting, and power distribution.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and docs.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with automation and instrumentation teams to troubleshoot integrated systems.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure codes and GMP compliance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
• Maintain CMMS maintenance records.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and CAPA actions.
• Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow EHS, GMP and quality system requirements.
