Job summary

Merrick & Company in the Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves all phases of engineering production and BIM for complex projects, from programming through construction administration, with a focus on electrical design for facilities including power distribution and lighting.

Candidates should have a PE license and a bachelor's in electrical or architectural engineering, eight years of relevant experience, proficiency in REVIT/AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in facility electrical engineering design.
• Proficient in REVIT/AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEE.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for client projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for facilities including Government and private clients.
• Provide conceptual and detailed design for facility power distribution and related systems.
• Prepare and edit specifications and supporting calculations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure accuracy, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide team leadership.
