Position Overview

Arcadis, the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in federal agency facility design.

Location

Remote in the USA, with up to 35% domestic travel.

Role Description

You will support the Places Design & Engineering group, lead electrical discipline for multiple projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and federal clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead design teams and mentor junior staff to develop construction-ready design packages.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and federal standards such as UFC and UFGS.
3. Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, and staffing plans; pursue new project opportunities, leveraging your network within U.S. Federal Agencies.
4. Use design and modeling software including Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, and others.
5. Travel to project sites for surveys, data collection, and client collaboration.
6. Design facilities such as industrial, commercial, water, EV charging, transportation, and data centers.

Qualifications & Experience

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10-15 years of consulting experience.
• Proven experience producing IFC design packages for federal facilities.
• Professional Engineering Licensure in the U.S. (multiple licenses preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
