Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for a permanent role with a US-based turnkey energy solutions context. You will oversee electrical scope, budgets, and schedules on EPC projects and collaborate with clients and the integrated team to deliver world-class electrical designs.

Responsibilities include leading the electrical design, managing multiple projects, and ensuring compliance with ANSI/IEEE/API/NEC standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
EIT or PE license (Desired).
5+ years of relevant experience in fossil fuels, power generation, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Be client-facing and manage scope, budget, and schedule for electrical projects.
Provide third-party engineering oversight and lead the electrical team’s development.
Lead electrical technical design and may serve as engineer of record.
Perform design, analysis, and calculations using latest standards and software.
Prepare/load lists, power studies, and single-line diagrams.
Collaborate with EPC team and clients on RFIs, deliverables, and change orders.
Review vendor documents to ensure spec compliance.
