Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the test and integration of a next‑gen EO/IR circuit card assembly. You will drive design updates, troubleshoot lab hardware, coordinate with suppliers, and serve as the technical interface to customers and program teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in production test environments, strong schematics and test procedures experience, and the ability to manage redesigns to resolve obsolescence and improve yields.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in production assembly and test environments.
• Experience with test procedures tied to performance requirements.
• Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead test, integration, and qualification testing of EO DAS circuit card assembly.
• Guide redesigns and resolve obsolescence-driven hardware issues.
• Implement new hardware to improve Fiber Optic testing.
• Troubleshoot systems, identify failure causes, document repair.
• Interface with customers and program teams on risks and decisions.
• Lead teams to resolve technical issues and improve test yields.
• Identify production metric improvements and develop implementation plans.
