Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead test and integration of a new EO/IR circuit card assembly. You will coordinate design updates, troubleshoot hardware, and interface with customers and program teams onsite.

The role requires deep experience in production testing, schematics, and problem solving, with a focus on delivering reliable hardware and reducing cycle times in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a production assembly and test environment.
• Experience with test procedures tied to contractual performance requirements.
• Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronic systems.
• Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Lead test, integration, and qualification testing of the EO DAS circuit card assembly.
• Lead redesigns and resolve obsolescence-driven hardware issues across factory, suppliers, and programs.
• Implement new hardware to improve fiber optic testing.
• Troubleshoot systems failing tests, identify root cause, document and disposition hardware for repair.
• Serve as primary electrical engineering interface for customers and program teams.
• Lead and participate in teams to resolve technical issues and improve test yields.
• Identify production metric improvement opportunities and develop improvement plans.
