Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an Electrical/Test Engineer to support production testing design coverage across all levels from special test equipment to assembly, test, and verification.

You will troubleshoot testsets to component level, including analog/digital/radio and microwave circuitry, analyze RF data, and interpret drawings, schematics, and parts lists. Applicants must hold a STEM degree, be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance, and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (preferably Electrical Engineering).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assess production testing design coverage for all levels of test from special test equipment to assembly, test, and verification.
• Troubleshoot testsets to component level, including analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software.
• Resolve issues on production support testsets in NTX.
• Work in a compact range environment or lab environment.
• Analyze test data of RF products to ensure test specifications are met.
• Interpret, generate, update, release, and apply engineering drawings, including testset drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
