Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a senior-level Electrical Engineer in Gainesville, FL to lead an engineering team and deliver advisory and design solutions for energy projects. You will work with client account managers on strategic pursuits, mentor junior staff, and help grow the energy transition portfolio.
Travel up to 50% and regular office presence are required. Qualified candidates have 10+ years of design/consulting experience, a PE license, and strong communication skills to deliver value to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience.
- Professional Engineering licensure (any US state).
- Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships and win work, then deliver solutions.
- Experience with proposal development and project execution planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and design solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with client account managers and sales on strategic pursuits.
- Mentor and develop junior staff and manage project delivery.
