Jacobs is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead an advisory and design team, delivering end-to-end power projects for diverse clients from our Philadelphia office. You will mentor staff, grow business, and collaborate with account managers to win and deliver high-impact energy solutions.

The role emphasizes strong communication, project leadership, and deep knowledge of power systems, with travel and hybrid work arrangements in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of engineering design/consulting experience.
• HV or MV substations experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure (any US state) with ability to obtain others.
• Proven client engagement, relationship-building and ability to win work.
• Experience with proposal development and project execution planning.
• Mentoring and development of junior staff.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to travel (<50%) and to work 2 days/week in Philadelphia office.
