Job summary

Arup seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to anchor the Energy Team's delivery of projects in the East Geography, with flexibility across Boston, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, or Washington DC offices. The role focuses on behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter energy applications, including microgrids and EVSE infrastructure, leading design and evaluations for urban energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
• PE license or eligible to obtain PE license.
• Experience in renewable power generation and urban/utility-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design packages from concept to construction documents up to 1000V.
• Prepare interconnection permits and load letters.
• Conduct feasibility studies and red flag reports.
• Produce energy modeling to quantify needs and right-size equipment.
• Provide construction support and present work to clients.
• Develop technical proposals for new work.
