Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to anchor the Energy Team’s delivery of projects. This senior role will drive engineering design for behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter applications, including microgrids and EV infrastructure, across multiple East Geography offices in Boston, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, or Washington DC.

You will lead design from concept to construction, prepare interconnection materials, conduct feasibility studies, and model energy needs to right-size

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in renewable power generation at urban or utility scale.
• PE license or eligible to obtain PE license; possible Electrical Engineer of Record.

Responsibilities

• Lead design packages from concept to construction documents for projects up to 1000V.
• Lead Interconnection Permits and Load Letters.
• Deliver feasibility studies and red flag reports.
• Produce Energy Modeling to quantify energy needs and optimally size equipment.
• Provide construction support and client presentations.
• Develop technical proposals for prospective work.
