Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC in North Springfield, VT is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a full-time onsite role at its headquarters. The candidate should have embedded hardware/software experience, and background in medical, robotics, or industrial fields with motion control expertise.

Responsibilities include hands-on design of analog/digital electronics, schematics, PCBs, and testing; collaboration with software engineers on control architectures; and contributing to design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
• Proficient in analog and digital electronics, signal integrity, sensors, motor control, and power.
• Proficient with Electronic CAD tools, especially Siemens PADs and KiCad.
• Ability to generate complex schematics, wiring diagrams, and test plans.
• Experience designing PCBs or guiding PCB designers.
• Familiar with RS232, I2C, SPI; CAN, USB, Ethernet, HTTP, FTP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, OPC-UA.
• Familiar with Python, Visual Basic, C#, to automate testing of embedded systems.
• Experience with embedded software design reviews and collaboration on control architectures.

Responsibilities

• 100% hands-on daily work on hardware and embedded systems.
• Design and document analog/digital electronics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and test plans.
• Collaborate with software engineers to select control architectures and components.
• Provide guidance to PCB designers and validate embedded system performance.
