Job summary

Savannah River National Laboratory in Aiken, SC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and deploy a wide range of electronic systems for the Savannah River Site, DOE complex, and national security missions. You will join the Asymmetric Technologies, Cyber Physical Systems team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering with 7+ years of experience, circuit design and simulation skills (STM32/ARM Cortex, PCB design), and programming (C/C++/Assembly).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical or computer engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship required for security clearance.
• Circuit design and simulation experience; STM32/ARM Cortex preferred.
• Programming experience: C, C++, or Assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, fabrication, assembly, testing, and deployment of electronic systems.
• Build and strengthen relationships with laboratory staff, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Deliver results in a safe, secure, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Scope, plan, organize, communicate, estimate, schedule, and perform technical tasks.
• Provide direction and support to less senior professionals; travel 10–15%.
