Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates in Aiken, SC is seeking an I&C Engineer to support the Savannah River Site. The role requires a B.S. in engineering and relevant experience to perform design and analysis.

You will generate design output documents such as P&IDs, DCS/PLC designs, control valve specifications, and perform field walk-downs. U.S. citizenship is required; PLC/DC experience is preferred; MicroStation skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, or I&C Engineering, or PE registration in one of these disciplines.
• Five years' design experience in the nuclear or chemical process industry.
• Must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
• Ability to walk-down of systems in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide support engineering services including engineering analysis, design development and generation of design output documents.
• Design output documents include P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, setpoint lists, instrument and control valve specifications, DCS and PLC design, instrument location and installation design, panel layouts, and vendor document review.
