Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. is seeking a Supervising Electrical Engineer/Designer - CF to lead electrical design and project teams in California. The role focuses on becoming Engineer of Record on dedicated projects, supervising staff, and driving design quality.

The position requires a PE registration, extensive project management experience in MEPT consulting, and hands-on CAD/REVIT capabilities to direct the team and ensure project success.

Qualifications

• PE registration is required and active.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 12+ years of project management experience in a consulting/MEP engineering environment.
• 10+ years’ experience in a consulting firm; supervisor experience.
• Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT with strong technical directing staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and supervise staff in coordination meetings.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and staff management for projects.
• Prepare proposals and administer project contracts with clients.
• Coordinate project tasks, system design, and building condition analyses.
• Develop design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
• Manage construction admin duties: RFIs, bulletins, addenda, and invoices.
