Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) for a direct hire in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires leading electrical design efforts across all project phases, with a focus on codes, standards, and quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of electrical engineering experience, an active PE license, and hands-on CAD and 3D modeling expertise. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and site involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience required.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for all design phases.
• Review deliverables to ensure scope, quality, and coordination standards are met.
• Develop electrical designs using applicable codes and industry best practices.
• Lead construction administration activities including reviewing shop drawings and RFIs; participate in site visits.
• Utilize CAD and 3D modeling tools to create and review electrical drawings and models.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, PMs, and stakeholders for project execution.
• Assist with cost tracking, scope management, and risk assessments related to electrical systems.
• Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements.
• Maintain professional development and stay current with industry standards.
