Job summary

PSI is seeking a Supervising Electrical Engineer/Designer to join our team in San Francisco, CA or Sacramento, CA. The role focuses on leading engineering projects as Engineer of Record, supervising staff, and managing budgets and schedules.

Qualified candidates hold a PE registration with 12+ years of Project Management and 10+ years in a consulting firm in MEP engineering. Strong CAD/REVIT experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• 12+ years of Project Management experience.
• 10+ years’ experience working in a consulting firm; senior level in MEP Engineering.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience; you will direct staff.

Responsibilities

• Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and supervise staff in coordination meetings.
• Lead and supervise staff as they perform tasks; participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
• Provide periodic objective employee evaluations; supervise staff.
• Coordinate projects to be performed by the engineering team (system design and project engineering).
• Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
• Prepare proposals and administer project contracts between Syska Hennessy Group and the client.
