Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA. You will design complex electrical power and building systems, including generator plants, MV distribution and fire protection, while leading a team of engineers and managing project delivery.

Ideal candidates have PE licensure, 7+ years of experience in high-performance commercial/industrial settings, proficiency with Revit BIM, and strong communication skills to liaise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with electrical building systems emphasis.
• 7+ years designing electrical systems for high performing commercial or industrial environments.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience mentoring and training others in the field.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
• Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality technical deliverables for projects and proposals.
• Lead development of initial electrical system concepts and layouts.
• Manage project plans, budgets and client interactions.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and vendors to develop drawings and specs.
• Survey and evaluate existing conditions and perform construction administration.
• Maintain client relationships and uphold safety policies.
