Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE registration preferred or expected within a reasonable timeframe.
• 8+ years experience in electrical design for buildings/renovations.
• Experience with 3D modeling and BIM software (REVIT) desired.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, detailing, and calculations for new and renovated buildings.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
• Edit and write electrical specifications.
• Perform investigations and feasibility studies with cost estimates.
• Mentor EIT-level staff and direct BIM Modelers.
• Support construction administration and RFIs, site visits as needed.
• Assist project managers with budgets, schedules, and proposals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) registration

Project management understanding

Business development understanding

Effective verbal and written communication

Ability to prioritize multiple projects
