Job summary

EAPC Architects Engineers in Fargo, ND is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, detail, and manage electrical systems for diverse building projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients on new constructions, additions, and renovations.

The position requires a PE license, extensive experience, and proficiency in REVIT, SKM, and AutoCAD. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with BIM Modelers while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years experience in a firm or consulting environment preferred.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Proficiency with REVIT, SKM and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, detailing, and calculations for all project phases.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams.
• Edit and write electrical specifications.
• Perform investigations, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
• Mentor EIT-level staff.
• Direct BIM Modelers on electrical drawings.
• Manage construction administration tasks and site visits.
• Support project managers with budgets and schedules.
• Assist in contracts and development of engineering standards.
