Job summary

Ramboll seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join the Data Center Facilities design team. You will work on data center projects from concept through construction, leading electrical infrastructure solutions for enterprise, hyperscale and colocation facilities.

Expect collaboration across site selection, due diligence, master planning and commissioning. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and develop designs, scopes, and proposals while applying knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering and design with AutoCAD/Revit.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, building codes, grid studies, and arc flash analyses.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical data center design and oversight to project teams.
• Develop proposals, scopes, and fees from client information or meetings.
• Lead engineers and designers in conceptual through construction designs for mission critical facilities.
• Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary project teams (electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
• Develop or review specifications for equipment meeting data center design requirements.
• Prepare bid packages and review submittals for construction proposals.
• Perform needs assessments, cost analyses, and total cost of ownership studies.
• Perform power systems analysis for complex facilities and review analyses by others.
• Assist in business development activities and commissioning teams.
