Job summary

Ramboll's Data Center Facilities team seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the design group in Los Angeles and other locations. You will contribute to data center projects from concept through commissioning with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on electrical infrastructure for enterprise, hyperscale, and colocation centers.

Qualifications

• B.S or M.S in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Course work or experience related to power systems, architectural or fire alarm design preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with drawing production tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT is favorable.
• EIT is an advantage; Ramboll will support PE pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic designs and perform calculations following design, construction and government standards.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings and other data to plan projects.
• Gather and record information for writing specifications and review vendor submittals/drawings.
• Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop practical engineering skills.
• Develop knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare and present routine technical reports.
