Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Course work or experience related to power systems, architectural or fire alarm design preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Familiarity with drawing production tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Preparing basic designs and performing calculations in support of projects with supervision.
• Analyzing reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects.
• Gathering and recording information to write specifications and review vendor submittals.
• Visiting job sites to gain field experience and develop practical engineering skills.
• Developing knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Preparing and presenting routine technical reports.
