Job summary

Boyd Corp in Massachusetts seeks a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design electrical hardware and control panels for liquid cooling products. You will select components, create schematics, and develop firmware or collaborate with software engineers to implement control logic and PID loops.

You will join a small cross‑disciplinary team from concept through production. The role covers firmware/development, testing, debugging, and delivering on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing, programming, and maintaining control systems.
• 3+ years PLC programming and HMI development with sensor integration.
• Experience with RS-232/RS-485/Ethernet, SNMP or REST APIs.
• Familiar with PLM and Oracle Cloud ERP tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop control system architectures and dynamic cooling control algorithms.
• Program and configure controllers; develop HMI interfaces for cooling ops.
• Commission, test, and validate control systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on design reviews and planning.
• Create and maintain documentation; implement verification test plans.
• Ensure compliance with UL/CE safety standards.
