Job summary
Naval Nuclear Laboratory in Idaho Falls seeks an experienced electrical engineer to support commissioning of the facility's electrical systems within the SFHP. You will perform engineering tasks independently and collaborate with diverse teams, with opportunities to lead small projects as you gain experience.
Candidates should hold advanced degrees and substantial relevant experience; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Doctorate in a related technical, engineering, or science field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Currently a Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.
Responsibilities
- Support commissioning of the facility electrical systems.
- Possibly lead small teams as experience grows.
- Complete engineering tasks independently and collaborate with diverse teams across disciplines.
