Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years’ experience designing, testing, manufacturing or other engineering support.
• Experience owning and driving deliverables within a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated initiative in going beyond assigned tasks on own accountability.
• History of applying critical thinking to address design challenges.
• Proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the next generation CardioMEMS products to help patients and clinicians manage heart failure.
• Conduct bench and preclinical studies to support feasibility and regulatory submission.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of CardioMEMS electronic designs.
• Draft test protocols and reports; coordinate and execute project activities.
• Support design reviews and development of risk management documentation.
• Gain understanding of FDA, ISO and Abbott quality and regulatory requirements.
